I'm a sucker for a good Valentine's date night and this year is no exception. Well, except that we don't have childcare (yet), so we may be date-nighting it at home. Oh well....such is life with four little ones.
Anyway, we've got out to dinner pretty much every Valentine's Day and the dress has ranged from casual to dressy. Here are three different looks that could be perfect for three different levels of dress.
On the left, is a Nordstrom dress that I bought a couple years ago. It feels like a sweatshirt material and is so cozy. Best part...it has pockets! Nothing screams Valentine's day like pink with polka dots, which is why I love this Gap scarf. And the grey wedges are from Target. Some of my favorite (and most comfortable) shoes.
In the middle is a fun little dress I bought for my 30th birthday. It's from Forever 21 and is the perfect cocktail style dress. I've worn it in Vegas a few times and love it with this long gold tassel necklace (also from Forever 21).
Finally, the look on the right is for a casual date night. A subtle touch of pink in this rose colored striped top from Romy, paired with a white Target cardi. I love grey and pink together, so these Wit and Wisdom jeans from Nordstrom are great! And there are those Target wedges again!
Here are a few other touches that would make you look fabulous for a date night with your sweetheart. Of course, you've got to get those nails painted pink!!
Try this super sweet pink Essie polish..."True Love"
And paired with this amazing Victoria's Secret lip gloss, you'll be set.
And while you are getting all dressed up, you're going to need some fun earrings and bangles. So these would do the trick! Nordstrom never fails.
So whether you are heading to a fancy restaurant or picking up fast food, you've got some options for looking cute on Valentine's Day. What are your plans??
You've only got three days to decide! No pressure. XOXO
